I started painting with oils as a young girl. I took a watercolor class and fell in love with the medium and have been painting with watercolors ever since. My style is realistic. I love the fine detail.

Inspiration comes to me from all life that surrounds me whether I am in the mountains, on a sidewalk by a busy street, at the racetrack, or my back yard. I use many pictures to achieve the effect I am looking for.

It's like magic to create an elusive moment, an emotional response or memory with my craft. I want to share my works with those to provide a moving experience for those who experienced the event and who may have never witnessed it at all. My objective is to create an heirloom someone will cherish.
